Rooted Resilience for Modern Life
Disconnect. Reconnect. Find your resilience.
Forest bathing, known in Japan as Shinrin-yoku, is the practice of intentionally slowing down and immersing yourself in the sights, sounds, scents, and sensations of the natural world.
Unlike hiking, which often focuses on distance or destination, forest bathing invites you to engage your senses and experience the forest with curiosity and presence. Through guided invitations, mindful observation, and unhurried exploration, participants develop a deeper connection with nature, themselves, and the present moment.
Research suggests that spending intentional time in nature may help reduce stress, improve mood, support overall well-being, and foster a greater sense of connection and calm.
At Wooded Wellness Collective, forest bathing is not about exercise or achievement—it's about creating space to slow down, notice more, and experience the restorative wisdom of the woods.
